Beginnings of crate training

4 week old Boxer puppies beginning to learn how to use crate. I always put them in the crate for about 30 minutes when I am changing their bedding. Also, now they like to be out playing in their room so I leave the crate open so they can go inside it when they want a nap. Dogs are naturally den animals so they like to have a den-like place to go to. Never use a crate to punish your dogs! It should always be a safe haven for them.
